Have you been "Boo-ed" lately?

We've been having lots of fun 'spooking' or 'boo-ing' the neighbors lately. You leave a poem and a treat at the door of your neighbor, and ask them to spook 2 more neighbors. Pictured above are some carmel rice krispey nummies mysteriously delivered by one of our neighbors. This is the poem and instructions that were attached:

The air is cool, the season Fall,
Soon Halloween will come to all,
Enjoy this treat, and have fun, too!
Spook someone else, like we've Spooked you.
Give something sweet or cute or shrewd
To help us spread the festive mood!
Be cool, have fun - but don't be seen . . . . .
While you share the Spirit of Halloween!


You have been Spooked! Please keep it going by following these directions:1. Enjoy your treat.2. Place the Spooked! sign someplace visible, like your front door or window.3. Make 2 copies of this note, and make 2 treat bags.4. Secretly deliver to 2 neighbors who haven't been Spooked!5. Keep an eye on nearby front doors to see how far and fast it spreads by Halloween!

Here is the recipe of the treats that we delivered:

Raisin’ the Dead Snack Mix
1 pound yogurt covered raisins
1 pound salted cashews
1 (14 ounce) package chocolate covered peanuts
1/2 pound stick pretzels
1 pound candy corn
1 pound M&Ms

It is Summer - and life is good...

Guess what? One day I was in school and my teacher gave me an assinmant to write a story about how to make the world a better place. It was a compition held by an author, and I am a finalist!
