The bugs rang in the New Year with some sparkling cider and learning how to embroider! Mom's skills are pretty rusty so we took it slow. Even so, Lizzie sewed her work to her jeans!
The inspiration to learn embroidery seems to have come from seeing young girls stitch in the American Girl movies.

That's so funny--Auntie Megi embroidered her Girl Scout jacket to the skirt of her uniform when she was in 6th grade! She says only very special people can do that!
